In
November, the Chapter assisted in raising money for an Inclusive Playground
being organized by the ARC of Buffalo County.
To raise money for this project, the Chapter set up a small booth at
Topperz, a local frozen yogurt shop.
Donations were collected through customers placing change in a bucket
and Topperz donating $1 for every purchase made that day. Paloma Mena-Werth, a current member, received a
donation from her parents as well. The fundraiser
raised $500 to donate towards the Inclusive Playground! The playground will be built at Harmon Park. Construction will begin this summer.
